Fritz Liedtke has been photographing since he was a child when, at 13, with his father and their turquoise Datsun B210, he chronicled their travels across the United States. They covered 35 states in 31 days, washing suburban cars along the way to pay for their travels. Fritz is a professional photographer, artist, and teacher. He has won awards from Tamron/Bronica, Photographer's Forum/Nikon, and Caldera, among others. His work has been published most recently as a portfolio in LensWork magazine; the book Creative Vision by Jeremy Webb; Somerset Studio Magazine; and in the Friends of Friends Photography Auction Catalog in New York. His current project is a documentary, partially funded by a grant from RACC, on eating disorders.
